Path of Wool and Silk
#SlowTrips - #vialanaeseta
The Path of the Wool and Silk (Via della Lana e della Seta) is a newfound trekking route that connects the cities of Bologna and Prato through a kaleidoscope of incredibly wild landscapes, greatly marked by medieval architectures and industrial archeology linked to textile processing. In the past, water was in fact essential to move the machinery of the wool industry of Prato, and the silk production of which Bologna was once the capital. A trekking itinerary that allows you to spend 7 days and 6 nights among the natural beauty of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines with a full immersion in nature, history and culture.
