This journey begins in the medieval historical center of Bologna, ending in Florence, UNESCO world heritage site for its importance in architecture and art, passing through the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and its valuable locations: The Pliocene Buttress dating back to 4 milion years ago, the “Flaminia Militare” an ancient Roman road built in 187 BC as well as the Castello del Trebbio commissioned by Cosimo de’ Medici. Moreover, the city of Fiesole, a jewel on the florentine hills founded by Etruscans.
All this is the Via degli Dei, a route that traces a “piece of history” and gives to the numerous trekking and bike lovers the chance to fully explore and enjoy the untained beauty of these places.

If you're tired, you can take the bus from piazza Mino in Fiesole and arrive in Florence, shortening the last leg of about 6 km.
