GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE TRAVEL CONTRACT AND SALE OF HOLIDAY PACKAGES
BOOKING AND PAYMENTS
At the time of your booking, which must be sent via the designated form on the AppenninoSlow website, completed in its entirety and flagged by the customer, the payment of the confirmatory deposit is required. The latter is non-refundable except in the event that the trip is canceled by Appennino Slow.
The balance of the entire participation fee must be paid within 7 days of the confirmation of the trip by Appennino Slow.
If reservations are requested within the 20 days prior to departure, the total price of the trip must be paid in a single installment. Failure to pay the above sums on the established dates constitutes an express termination clause such as to determine, by the organizer, the legal termination of the contract.
WITHDRAWAL OF THE CONSUMER
The consumer also has the right to withdraw from the Contract, without penalty, in the following cases:
a price increase in excess of 10%;
a significant modification of one or more elements of the contract, objectively configurable as fundamental for the fruition of the tourist package as a whole and proposed by the organizer after the conclusion of the contract itself but before departure and not accepted by the consumer (with the exception of mandatory formalities to be in compliance with the regulations in force at the time of travel).
In the cases mentioned above, the customer also has the right:
to take advantage of an alternative tourist package, at no extra cost or with the refund of the excess price, should the second tourist package have a lower value than the first;
to request a voucher of the same amount to be used or given to third parties within 12 months;
the restitution of the amount already paid.
If the consumer does not communicate the decision to accept the modification or to withdraw within two working days from the moment in which he received the notice, the proposal is considered accepted.
The consumer who withdraws from the contract before departure, apart from the hypotheses listed above, will be charged as a penalty - regardless of the payment of the deposit and in addition to the participation fee - the insurance premiums, in the following percentages calculated based on how many days the cancellation took place before the start of the trip:
up to 31 days. before the start of the trip: 50 Euros (or 100 € in case of custom departures) as handling fee;
from 30 to 11 days before the start of the trip: 30% of the total amount of the tourist package;
from 10 to 4 days before the start of the trip: 50% of the total amount of the tourist package;
3 to 0 days before the start of the trip: 100% of the total amount of the tourist package;
In case departure is no longer possible following an infection by COVID-19 you will receive a voucher - equal to the amount already paid and transferable to other people - to use in the following 24 months. in case the voucher has not been used at the end of the aforementioned period, the reimbursement can be requested. Upon cancellation a medical certificate or a positive molecular test has to be presented to prove the illness.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE CONSUMER
During the negotiations and before the contract is concluded, Italian citizens will be supplied with all the general information in writing about any health requirements and the documentation required for travelling abroad, current at the date on which the catalog was printed. Foreign citizens will be able to get the relevant information from their diplomatic representatives in Italy or through their official government channels.
In any case, consumers will, before departure, check the update with the competent authorities (for Italian citizens, the local police headquarters or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs via the website www.viaggiaresicuri.it), adjusting them before the trip.
In the absence of such verification, no responsibility for the non-departure of one or more consumers can be attributed to the seller or the organizer.
Any failure in the fulfillment of the contract shall be immediately notified by the Consumer during the use of the package, in order to enable the Organizer, the Local Agent or the Tour Guide to correct the situation. The consumer can also make a complaint by sending a registered letter, with acknowledgment of receipt, to the organizer or to the seller, within 10 working days from the date of return to the place of departure.

In compliance with the provisions of EU Regulation no. 2016/679, the personal data provided by the customer will be processed according to the principles of lawfulness, correctness and transparency.
The provision of data is necessary for the execution of the contract and to fulfill the legal and tax obligations provided for by the regulations in force and / or to exercise a right of the owner provided for by the regulations in force. Failure to communicate your personal data in relation to the purposes indicated in this statement will prevent the execution of the contract and / or processing.

The official category of hotels in the catalog has been established by the local authorities on the basis of the criteria in force in each country. Sometimes, this classification can differ, even significantly, from the quality standards present in our country. The information relating to the facilities and ancillary services offered are provided by the individual accommodations and updated at the time the catalog is printed. Any inaccuracies are due to the autonomous needs of the accommodation facilities for which the TOs decline all responsibility.
Accommodation is normally provided in twin or triple rooms with separate beds. The "triple" rooms are generally double rooms with an added bed / cot which can be uncomfortable to accommodate three adults. Single rooms are available in limited numbers, subject to a surcharge and less spacious than double/twin rooms.
In some cases it is possible that there are double rooms (with non-divided beds) as there are only facilities with this type of solution but the organizer will try to avoid this situation as much as possible and, if necessary, to inform the customer at the time of reservation.
The current legislation provides that the rooms are made available to guests after 3.00 pm on the day of arrival and are vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. The occupancy of the rooms, after this time, is fully charged to the customer. No reimbursement is foreseen for room occupancy after midnight caused by aircraft operators already aware of the customer or in any case foreseeable at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise indicated, it must be understood: half board = overnight stay, breakfast and dinner; full board = overnight stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The full board meal plan will start from dinner on the day of arrival and end with breakfast on the day of departure (flight times permitting). No reimbursement is foreseen for meals not used for any reason (flight times, delays, etc ...) and services not used for early return decided by the customer.
Excursions and any ancillary services purchased directly on site and not included in the price of the tourist package are unrelated to the object of the travel contract.
The prices are expressed in EURO in units and are intended per person for accommodation in a double, triple or multiple room if indicated.
VALIDITY OF THE FEES
The prices may be varied up to 20 days prior to the departure date as a result of changes in: transport costs (including the cost of fuel), duties and taxes on certain types of services such as landing, disembarkation or boarding fees, security in ports and airports, currency exchange fees (where the value or conversion date is indicated in the price table).
When calculating the duration of the trip, the day of departure and the day of return must be included regardless of the departure times of the means of transport.
THE PRICE INCLUDES
At the end of each travel program, you will find the paragraph “the price includes” which lists the standard services included for all the travel proposals to which they refer. Any changes are indicated in the description of the individual hotels. In "the price does not include" the services and costs excluded from the package are indicated.
It is not possible to apply any offers and / or reductions to the fees unless otherwise indicated by Appennino Slow.
Children - Unless otherwise indicated, reductions / "children" discounts are provided for children from 2 to 11 years old, accommodated in a room with two people paying the full fee and are only applicable after agreements with Appennino Slow. Fixed-fare seats are available in limited numbers and subject to confirmation at the time of booking
MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
The actual departure of the trips is subject to reaching the minimum number of participants specified in the price tables. Failure to reach this minimum will be announced at least 15 days before departure (or 7 for trips lasting less than 4 days) and may result in the cancellation of the trip and/or the revision of the sale price
